Vortex Rammer, Tune and 160* Tstat

Vortex Rammer, Tune and 160* Tstat
Took my 08 M6 to Ernie at Breathless Performance for a Vortex CAI and Tune. He talked me into throwing on a 160* Tstat on the grounds that it had more flow.
I've been concerned about coolant temps, I think I remember that my 06 ran at around 180* but the 08 has consistently run 210-218*.
On the ride back to Miami from Dania, coolant temps were around 190*, like every other chevy in the world. So for me, the 160* stat was a worthy mod.
Havn't really taken the measure of the Vortex yet.

I have the same set up, 08 MN6, Vortex Rammer and 160*stat and a tune from a local reputable tuner. With all things inconsistent, comparetively speaking, singing to a tune of 396rwhp/389rwtq. I'm happy and the tune really woke up the beast.
