Check my mods in my sig. I'm getting a custom tune done 6/28 at RevXtreme so I'm probably gonna sell my Diablo Tuner because all it will do is pull and clear codes after they are done with it so I'll just get a OBD II port reader for that. So my question is with the mods in my sig. would removing the Diablo Tuner from my car affect it at all till I was able to get to RevXtreme? I know I would probably get the CEL for the headers because they don't have cats but that wouldn't affect the car at all. I have a 160* T-Stat so I adjusted my fans. Would changing it back to stock timing hurt anything? I'm trying to sell the Tuner to help pay for the custom tune but I might end up having to wait till I get it tuned to remove the tuner. What do you guys think?

I think you'll probably run alright, maybe a little rough but not enough to hurt anything. What I would do is take the diablo to the tuner and have him restore the original tune there, it will only take a few minutes and will ensure you don't have any problems getting there.
I don't know why I just realized this but on my way home from work I'll remove the tune and see if anything bad happens. I'm predicting the CEL for the headers comes up, I'll have that dang CAGS back, and I might loose a lil power but I don't think I'll be able to notice it.

I'll check back when I'm home.

David, I would not be too quick in getting rid of your predator. It is not just a scan tool, but is specific to your model corvette. You can DATA LOG your parameters and save them to your PC. Then when you get the tune (Presumably HP TUNERS ) you can still data log and save the parameters of your new tune . You might want the tuner to give you a copy of the tune written to a memory stick pluged into his LAPTOP.
BTW ask him if he locks his tune. Some do some dont. You should know.
Get some before and after numbers. You will be impressed. Most are
usually delightfully impressed. Stay away from the courthouse. LOL

Good advice. The Predator can be super usefull. We do not lock tunes...the customer pays for it so he gets it all.
