z51 rotors

how is everyone dealing with the rust on the c6 z51 rotors, after washing car and polishing the rim's. go for a drive and come back only to see my 2 hour detail job is ruined by the rust from the rotor's please give feed back!

Painted the hub part with high temp flat black & rotor part dries up once it's good-n-hot.

I painted mine three years ago with high temp engine enamel and they still look like I just did.

I have Baer rotors on the Corvette and they have an aluminum hat section, so no rust, but on my Acura and LS, I painted the vanes and calipers with high heat clear and the hub with black. They still look good after one winter.

get them zinc coated. I got mine done for about 50 bucks. Paid another 50 for getting them turned. If you don't need to turn them you can save the extra dough. the zinc plating shouldn't cause any issues with braking.
