Maybe a dumb differential question....

Will the "guts" from my '05 rear fit in an '06-'07 case? Maybe a weird question, but I have the '06 case and maybe this is the answer to my weak '05 rear.

Some of it will. The pinion housing is different and would have to come from an 06.

Thanks for your reply! I've looked at your site and like what I see. What's my best bet for this swap? Got any thoughts? Would my '05 be an acceptable core? It has a whopping 10,000 mi. on it.

The rear of the transmission also needs to be changed.

Yeah, I don't mind changing the tailshaft housing. That should be a piece of cake. Thanks.
