Default update on vararam check engine light install

drove my 08 coupe to lg motorsports in wylie yesterday.
i had insalled the mas upside down. they corrected the
mas and dynoed . car is completely stock except for vararam
hp 399 torque 394.
vararam should give better install instructions.
they are vaugue and not speific. i raced a mustang for 10 years
installed many after market parts. never had a problem.
when installed correctly the mas electrical connector is upside
down. they have many things they should correct and to make
the installation easier.

Please elaborate, not exactly clear.

So when the MAF is installed in the Vararam is it in the same orientation as it originally sits in the original 08 air intake from the factory?

Or is the MAF somehow inverted from its original position after it's installed in the Vararam?

Yeah...I still don't see how people have problems installing the vararam. It's not a huger elaborate puzzle. Aside from cutting the shroud, the hardest part for me is taking off the stock unit...the installation of the new vararam has been a breeze.

All Chevrolet Corvette parts only work when installed one way (correct way), Unlike Mustang parts where it dont matter if it upside down, rightside-in, inside out..........

A little confused. Did you install it upside down or in the wrong direction? It has one flow path (inlet must side must face towards the front of the car) but I don't think there is an upside down, is there?

you must have a strong car because VARARAM doesn't show much,if anything, on all these "wonderdynos"!!Where it works is where it matters..on the street and strip!
