I have on 05 C6 coupe. I recently noticed that at idle, the tail lights and floor courtesy lights have a slight irregular flicker. Nothing in the front lights. As soon as you come up off idle, it stops. Any suggestions?
Does it happen at all times or do you notice it as the car is warming up and getting to operating temperature?
My Camaro (LS1), when it was stock, many years ago, would flicker the lights as you described when the AIR system was cycling during engine warm up. The AIR pump would be going on an off causing the lights to flicker at idle. When the CATS would light off and start functioning, the AIR pump would stop operating and the flickering would stop.
Naw, the battery is about 6 months old. Also, ran a diagnostic thru the OnStar, and it didn't indicate any codes or problems. A few months ago, I did swap out the rear third light, the one with a row of LEDs. I wondering if those may pulsate, and might be causing the flicker.
