Default help cant install fusion retro

just bought a b&b fusion retro for my C6 08. the first problem I have is there is no vacuum port behind the left or right bank coil packs. It seems that bowling Green changed the vacuum system they take vacuum from the intake manifold and according to the manual you have to remove the intake to get at this quick disconnect that's behind the intake. You can't get your hand behind the the manifold to even check to see if it's there.
beside I'll be damned if I'm going to take a brand new engine w/ 700mi apart.
any help anyone can give me as to where I can get vacuum would be great.
Thanks,
Mike

Easiest way might be to use Pipedreams NPP In A Box, I think it works with the B&B system. www.nakidparts.com

I'm in the middle of putting a full Z06 system on my C6 vert, LG headers, 3" pipes and take-off Z06 mufflers. I'm using his NPP in a box for my setup. All the parts came off today, the new stuff all goes on tomorrow.

I don't know if the npp in a box is strong enough to pull in the actuators on the fusions. I'll have to wait till Ed chimes in.

I have a set of the B B Fusions on my C6, the M2W from Ed works great

I have it set up to start open and I control it with a remote, came with the kit.
Good Luck

The vacuum outlet on my '05 was at the back of the intake manifold. did it change for '08?

Another recommendation for the NPP in a box. The installation is extremely easy and very fast. It works like a dream. Try it, you'll like it.

Obviously if it works the NPP it would work the B&B since they both use the same vacuum source (the motor), NPP in a box produces the same vacuum the motor does.
