Tire Tread
Question,
What is the depth of tire tread on a new stock C6 tire. I just had the oil changed and was told my tires were 6/32s all around. I was wondering how worn they were and when they should be replaced.

You haven't filled out your profile, so I don't know whether you've got the Z51 handling package or not. Those tires are different.
The base & F-55 coupe & vert have 10/32" of tread on the front tires, 11/32" of tread on the back tires when new.
The tires on the Z51-equipped coupe & vert have 9/32" of tread all around.
The base & F-55 coupe & vert have 10/32" of tread on the front tires, 11/32" of tread on the back tires when new.

I've seen several recommendations they be changed at about 2/32" of tread. An old standby method of telling is to put a penny in the tread. If you can see all of the top of Lincoln's head, it's time to get new tires.
I've also got the F55 suspension on my coupe. With 12500 miles on the tires, my fronts are down to about 6.5/32 in the front and 8.5/32 in the back.
I don't know why my fronts are wearing faster than the rears, but they are.

Just go straight and avoid making turns.
