help, I have a 2005 base Z51 "Base Mirror"
I installed a power dimmer mirror with compass?????
my harness has three wires #1 white,#6 orange_
& #8 is black. Schematic's show's/# 5 gray,auto-
DAY/Night Mirror "signal DD8"
# 16 Pink,day/night mirror "low reference DD8"
So witch wire to tap,#5 or #16
I'm thinking one is for RVMirror & one for L/Side
Mirror?????????????????? HELP.

The issue is that 05 has different mirror than 06 to 08. 05 does not have the airbag lamp in it, so the colors may not match up. I have an 06 and I just unplug the base mirror and plugged in the dimmer, compass mirror.

have a base 05/just installed 3lt mirror from an 2005.
no power to dimmer or compass/useing ADD-a -circuit,
Schematic's its #5 OR #16,one for RVMirror & one is for L/Side mirror????????????its a 50/50 shot.......
