Default L76 Fully Assembled no longer......

I had my sights on the L92/L76 package but instead just got the latest news. I tried ordering part no. 1259013 which is the L76 fully assembled intake....guess what it is no longer available or discontinued according to several vendors I've spoken to. So I am asking you guys, what is the best route to take if I still prefer the L92/L76 to be complete. Some vendors said that you could use the FAST Intake components...yeah $1300 total or the stock component from your LS2. The only thing about the LS2 fuel line components/fittings, it doesn't look appealing, sits up too high according to them. So this entire ordeal is going to delay my project for now. Hope to see the LS3Intake from FAST or Weiand real soon.

You really don't need the fully assembled intake.

You can reuse your LS2 TB and fuel rails. They fit just fine. I'd just look for a better injector.

Pick up an LS3 intake from the dealer or a used one on Ebay usually $399 complete minus TB.

Or simply wait for the Wieand in a few years. I kid, I kid.

Thanks Cory. Are we talking about the 40lb injectors?

So I guess the LS3 Intake is a different part no. than the L76? And I never thought about Ebay. Thanks

You defintely want a 40lb or better injector.

Since the injectors are rather expensive from GM separately (the fully loaded manifold units with everything were a steal!), I'd consider finding some take out injectors from someone going really big or just doing the injector swap to the more widely available LS1 type. You can get many more options in the LS1 type, but it does involve changing o-rings and splicing connectors or buying the adapters. You can also score some great deals on used injectors for te LS1 style as well.

I did some research a couple of months ago and found that even though
the assy was no longer avaliable there was some dealers that still have some in stock.

Not as of May 5th....I did a complete dealer locate, there was only one reportedly in a Las Vegas dealership who said it was gone when I called. At that time, there was only one vendor on Ebay selling the few he snatched up for $800 + shipping.

They are on Ebay now like I said for $399. The LS3 intake with rails and LS7 injectors.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/08-09...em200239175255

They are the same but a few slight updates with the sound deadening material on top and the reinforced bolt holes and scew in map sensor. Good price actually.
