First, excuse my ignorance as I am new. I recently purchased an 07 C6 6spd and had a question about the "drive by wire" throttle.
The car is not my daily driver and has been in my garage untouched for a few days. I went to give it a wash tonight and I noticed the idle was a little rough (didnt really worry about it as I've heard these idle a little rough when cold). I went to step on the approx. 50% and I noticed a slight hesitation, as if the car wanted to stall, and then the car revved. Is this normal?
I took the car for a quick spin around the neighborhood and everything was good. A few blips on the throttle and didnt notice any hesitation or anything. Just wanted to know if the lag period is normal.
I have a 2007 mn6 with 12,500 miles that I purchased new. I use it as a daily driver but it has sat for several days on occasion. I have never noticed a rough idle or a hesitation when I step on the gas. I dont know how long your car sits, but it may be time to get your car out, blow out some carbon and buy some fresh premium......and take it from there.
What I have noticed with the electric throttle is a hesitation on decel when I let OFF the gas. My tuner said it is a fine balance between the hesitation before it decells versus you come off the gas and the engine stalls.
Just not the same immediate response as that direct cable.

Thanks for your reply. The so called "hesitation" only does it when the car is sitting in neutral and i apply the gas. There is no feeling of hesitation when I drive the car. I just noticed it while i was revving in the garage. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
