Default Help Wheel and Tire Sizes?

I have just ordered my Rear Wide Body Kit from Gene and Now I need to find the correct wheel sizes and tire sizes to fit a 08 C6 Coupe.

1. Big Brake Kit (not installed yet but soon)

2. As much tire as poss. without rubbing

3. No wide body kit in front.

I was looking at the Z07 (Corvette Garage) wheel and it doesn't seem to have a good offset for a big brake kit in front

No problem on rear for big brakes since I can do a Z06 fitment on wheels. Just need to find the largest tire size that will not rub.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Mike

The wheel vendors/manufacturers will get you squared away. When I ordered my wheels they asked me if I was going to use big brakes, if the car was lowered etc, then hooked me up. I run 19x9.5 and 20x13, rear fenders done only stock front.

If you are trying to run stock Z wheels you will have to do some digging to see what brakes they clear and if they make an aftermarket wheel for stock fenders that will clear brakes.

I would just get some CCWs and be done with it.

Oh, I run a 345/25/20 on the 13 with no rubbing and its very low. For track use I will run an 18 with a 345.

Default Thank You!

Thanks for the info....

What is the offset on your wheel sizes? Do you have any rubbing problems on the front?

Default Rear body kit

I just had the rear wide body kit added to my car also. I am running the 18x9.5 up front with Hoosier 245/40/18 and 19x13 in the rear with Hoosier 345/30/19. I added pictures for you to see the tires in the back. Hope this helps............Charlie C6

Default Front tire's

Charlie,

What is the offset of your front 9.5 rubber?

What brand of wheels are they?

The Z06 is 40mm and if that is what you used it looks Great.

Any problems with the front rubbing?

Thanks

I'd have to check. Iforged just built the wheels around my particular set up. I have zero rubbing issues.

No problem with rubbing that I know. I drove it this past Saturday for a short drive but I had to leave it at Next Level Performance to get the rest of the install done. They are Hoosier tires and TOM @ Next Level Peformance (407)869-7233 will help you with ANY questions that you might have with them. Hope this helps......Charlie C6
