Smugglers Hatch Things
Ok, I have found another bizarre anomoly in my 2005. The rear compartments on my car are not the same sizes as my friends 05, or any other C6 I've run into. I was considering putting my battery back there and I wanted it on the passenger's side. However, the cubby hole on the passenger side is much, much smaller then the driver's. I checked other cars and this is not the case. Anybody know when they switched and why?

Passenger side compartment size is reduced if the car is equipped with OnStar, bc thats where the onstar box lives... in the passenger-side rear compartment under the lining.
I would guess your car has OnStar, and the others you are comparing it to do not?
