Driving home today started out from the stop light shifted into second gear and the car went into reduce engine power mode. Man you guys were right these things barely move in that mode.Pulled over, plugged in my handy dandy code reader and came up with code P2135 throttle position sensor voltage. Cleared the code and the car seems back to normal.
I plan on some track time next week, is this something I should have the dealer check out? Anyone have any experience with this code? I know there are two throttle position sensors one for the go pedal and one for the throttlebody.
The car is an 07 mn6 speed with a 112 Maggie. Engine temp was 205 degrees. Any help or advice on this one would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the link Elmer, now I have a better understanding of what went down. Could it be possible that it was just temporary, as it hasn't set again after I cleared it?

It may have been a fluke. If it stays off, be happy. If it comes back it looks like a sensor might be having issues. Stuff that comes and goes drives me nuts.

I know what ya mean, you could run the diagnostics on it and it would check ok.
Dealerships invented the term "it doesn't do it when we drive it."

Update on code P2135 had the dealership run the diagnostic proceedure for the code and no problems were found.
When no problems are found GM says to replace the throttlebody, thats what their going to do. I could not believe that but it's written right there in their diagnostic proceedure for that particular code.

had this issue on my car... I ended up having to replace the throttle body, BC the TPS sensors are inside the TB and cant be replaced. I did go through the whole procedure GM outlines for this code first to find out the TB was bad, and a new one took care of the issue.
