Default Jacking up my vehicle

I changed out brake pads last weekend. I jacked up the car on the outer frame where jacking pucks go (one corner at a time). Is this highly inadvisable, or do people do safely it all the time?

The frame's lift points are fine, just use lift pucks or be real careful not to damage the rocker panels. It's not like the old days when we jacked our old flexible framed cars up and then realized we needed something in the car and couldn't get the "blankety-blankety" door open because it was pinched.

Go to www.bugmanweb.com/c6 and click on "jack" on the left. This will give you some detail on the lift points. -- -- You might have to get out of the forum site, and go from there.
