I recently purchased a used 2005 C6 with 30K miles and need to replace the front tires. I know that the stock tires are the Eagle F1 EMTs, which are pretty expensive. Although I am willing to purchase them, I was wondering if others had good experiences with other brands, either with or without the run flat feature.
This is my 4th 'Vette and I've put Firestones on each one as son as the Good Years gave up. They are less expensive and wear longer and perform better. Usually they are quieter although I have noticed the "Wide oval" seems louder on concrete roadways.
I agree. I recently replaced my front tires with the firestone run flats. They seem to perform almost as well and they are 1/2 the price and last twice as long. I still had the goodyear supercar tires on ther rear, but will be changing them over to firestones next spring.
