Default I drove the DVLmobile .....

So Ive been debating doing a cam or another blower on my incoming 09 , and I wanted to get a feel for a N/A car - The vacationing C6DVL ( Ed ) , graciously let me take his 10 second , 497 RWHP ECS Cam car out for a spin .

My impressions have left me just as conflicted as before , but I will say this , the car hauls *** !!

N/A is a totaly different feeling than boost , power delivery on his car was so smooth that it "felt" much slower to me , untill I looked down at the speedo and saw 125 in a very short time .

Its totally different then boost , where from 4.5 and up it progessivly feels like your face is getting sucked off .

Still , the car was quick as hell and sounds like a race car , the combo of headers and the NPP is perfect , quite when you need it and INSANE loud when you get on the gas ..

ECS built a hell of a car , thanks for the spin Ed

Wait, I though it was 485rwhp?
Oh, the 497 was on a Dynojet, I understand...but does this now mean that Dynapack dyno readings are not 100% accurate?!

Just kidding of course...running 10.8s at 128mph that car is a beast regardless of whether it makes 480hp or 500hp, just a little dyno humor for a Friday afternoon.

As far as I know , when it dyno'ed 485 it was with the 4:10's , now he has on 3:90's , thus the higher reading .

But like you said , dyno #'s are , its all about the trap speed
