Its a fairly straight forward install to do the Fusion retro bi-mode system install.

I have installed 5 of them and now can do the whole thing from car going on jack to finished in 3 hours.

I have B&B Fusion retro C6 systems in stock for a killer deal too so if your in the market shoot me a PM and I'll send you a quote.

Here is the complete process documented. In this case it' the NPP but the Fusion would be a similar process except you need to run the vacuum from the motor using B&B vacuum/control kit

NPP in the box (self contained system to run NPP on any C6) installed in 10 minutes, the guys at his shop were blown away that a car could sound like this. Craig set it to start up with the flaps closed (a simple flip of the switch and you can change it to start open) but when he opened them and hit the gas while I was setting up the camera, I almost went deaf, thanks Craig.

Here is a video I did with my still camera (so it's not great), will take time to load (I can not emphasize enough that you need to turn up the volume and you need a good speaker system (with bass) or a good set of headphones). I have the bose II on my PC and my cabinets shake in the wild mode.

Notice how the inner flaps open and close

Here is a repost of Craigster05 post in the tech section

The combo of the headers and the NPP in Wild gives you AMAZING sound and “HEY, LOOK AT ME!!!” volume…the tonality and sound is that of a NASCAR stock car at WOT outside the car, yet quieter and less drone inside the car than the GHL exhaust I was so fond of. The install is very straight forward, easier with a lift, but as Ed has shown with his car, you can do it on jack stands. Here are some pics and descriptions of the step by step process; you will receive complete illustrated instructions with your purchase.

NPP Mufflers waiting for Install

Factory Exhaust Removed

Drilling a ¼” hole in the rear well

Run the Vacuum Tube though the hole

Run the Vacuum tubes through existing frame locations

After dropping the rear sway bar, snake the NPP mufflers up and over

Attach the pipes to the mufflers

Connect the vacuum hoses to the NPP mufflers

Make sure your muffler pipes are straight and level

Muffler hardware done and vacuum tubing run

Locate vacuum nipple in well

Place NPP controller in bottom and attach vacuum and power lines

Place lid on top, you can still store items here (Does that look perfect or what???)

Connect power cable to the Seat Heater Fuse

And of course, a quick run with Ed's Polishing kit

That's all there is to it.....All that's left is to go out there and have a blast with your new found customized sound.

Does anyone have pics of where to run the power cable to get to the seat? Is another hole needed to be drilled? Also, should any of the good shops here like 21th CMC or LG get this done for me?

BTW: Do all Vettes have Heated seats? I have the 1LT group package.

All cars have a "seat heater" fuse, I have all the instructions on my site so you can see how it's done www.nakidparts.com "npp in a box" no need to drill a hole to run power. As you can see I just don't talk the talk, I walk the walk, 8 pages of color instruction on how to hook up my system.

The instructions on running power and vacuum lines were excellent. Ed's system is pretty much idiot proof .... if I can do it, ANYONE can. I would like to pass on one tip. After you drill the hole in the cubby for the vacuum line, you may need to cut a small square of the liner material. Carpet? Mouse fur? Whatever that stuff is. It was thick enough, on my car, to keep the nut threads from starting onto the adaptor thing. After cutting a bit of the "fur" away, the nut tightened down nicely. Maybe mine was thicker than most but if you have trouble getting it started just trim off a bit and save yourself a lot of frustration.
Nice system Ed, still loving it.

It's very easy to do, most of the wire just tucks under the carpet in the rear and the sill trim in the front. I have a vert so I had to deal with a bit more fun staying clear of the top mechanism and passing the wire into the front but it was still very easy to do.

I installed Z06 mufflers and the LG Z06 headers along with Ed's system. GOD ALMIGHTY what a beautiful noise. Closed they sound great, like the car should come from the factory. Open... bring the thunder, when you're at WOT it's like a race car.

If I recall correctly, there have been some issues with the Z06 NPP set up fittin in an A6, is this correct? If so, are there any work arounds?

Ed, I think the link to the instructions is dead..or maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

I sure would love this system. I just can't justify the buying the NPP mufflers right now....Oh the pain! I want one
