Default Convertible top hack

Does anyone know if there is a C6 convertible top hack so that you don't have to hold the lowering button down through the entire lowering cycle?

I you really wanted, you could wire up a timed relay. I'm sure it's not hard to do but why? It doesn't take long to put up and down!
Then again, it would be nice to hit one button up and down, boy are we lazy

I think we also run into a safety issue.

If I get a chance I might try it

It'd be nice if the latch mechanism was solenoid operated too.

Yeah so? The excercise wont hurt most of us Americans!

The OP wants something to override the button to not have to hold it the entire time! WTF? Its a 20 second stint, how hard is it to hold a friggin button?

TRUST ME, I NEED THE EXERCISE

Because of the OP, I just modded mine so I don't have to hold the button down. It's the lazy American way

My finger started to get weak after 5 seconds of holding it

I tried that, but I don't think a gallon of yogurt and 5 fruits 5 times a day worked...
