Default Rev limiter....how do i disable

Rev limiter is killing me off the line and between shifts...is there any way to disable it or do I have to tune it out?

Not sure you want to disable it, its there for a reason. Why you hitting it when shifting?

Ok I think it may actually be some kind of guardian mode because from what i'm reading the M6 doesn't have a rev limiter at 4000 which is where its kicking in. Would it be something to do with running hot?

I think what you are experiencing is Torq Management. Yes, that can be tuned out.

The rev limiter can be set to any 5 digit number (9999) with a tune, but, it sounds to me that your active handling may be kicking in. Are you getting some wheel hop upon launch? That can set the AH off, reducing power.

Rev limiter kicks in at redline 6500. I've only hit it once at dragstrip. Engine completely shut down for about a second. What rpm are you launching at? Are you side stepping the clutch?

Suggested REDLINE is 6500RPM, the electronic Rev Limiter steps in around 6700RPM since thats close to the mechanical RPM limits of the engine.

No Rev Limiter? Your heavy foot will blow the engine.

Sounds to me as if you need to alter your technique a bit or get stickier tires. Are you feathering or dumping the clutch?

Ok so I didn't know Active Handling could have a similar effect as Torque mgt, but it makes sense because when I finished my run the DIC kept reading "Active Handling Recalibrating" or something along those lines. I've since found that I can turn it off by holding down the traction control for 5 seconds. I haven't tried it since, could this have been the problem?
