SLP C6 Long-Tube Headers

I'm looking into buying SLP C6 Long-Tube Headers and was wondering if I could install these myself or is this a shop project. I don't have an engine lift, but can sure tear things apart

So could you guys kinda give me an idea of what I'm about to get into?

I used Kook's 1 3/4 coated from Maryland speed. Easy install and aleast
8 thousand perfect miles so far. For fit finish easy install and no problems. Kook's and American Racing (ARH) would be my two picks.

Do you have to get a tune after you install headers?

You don't have to have a tune but you will get more out of the headers if you do tune it. My suggestion is get a CAI, 160 degree T-stat, headers and then tune.
