Question about the EBDM.
Is this a common thing or is there anything else going on that Im not aware of? Its already causing me a bit of a hassle to go back and forth since the service department I go to is actually in another city and I dont trust the local ones after a few bad experiences.
Is it possible that theres a bigger issue with the ECM and they cant figure it out or is it just my luck?
Thanks!

Butt.....you haven't gotten any!!!
I think nobody has responded because they may not know what you're talking about.
I don't know what the EBDM is. I looked in my Service Manual in the "General Information" section in the "Abbreviations and Meanings", and although there are around 500 different abbreviations, I couldn't find any EBDM.
So....can you explain a little further what your problem is?
Bob
Sometimes;
I have been told that the factory sent a faulty unit = We don't what's wrong, so we just blame the factory & you will never know the difference
I worked to 2 days on a XLR that that ABS and Traction control problems. It had aftermarket wheels and tires. I put the factory wheels/tires back on, cleared the codes and like magic, it was fixed. Do you have the correct size tires?

When it came on first (about 2 months ago!!) I had stock rims and tires and just recently(last Friday) I put on Iforged rims in the correct offset and all, keeping the original rim size at 18/19.
Thanks for the correction.
I'm still not sure what the problem is either.
Are you getting DIC messages about ABS problems?
Is the problem setting DTC codes?
Or is it messages about the TPMS (such as "Service Tire Monitor") - do you have proper tire pressures indicated in the DIC?
The first thing I would think to do is to check all the sensor connections down at the wheels. If the EBCM is not getting the correct signals from the wheels then it just cannot work correctly, and you'll get ABS malfunction messages on the DIC.
If the messages have something to do with the TPMS then the problem isn't the EBCM at all.
If the messages and problem have to do with Active Handling, then that's a different problem as well.
So.....we need more info. What exactly is happening??? What messages are you getting that makes you think you have a problem in the first place???
Standin' by.....
Bob
The tires are 265 front and 305 rear, they also did check all the sensor connections and all seem to be fine.
Thanks for the replies everyone!
Check the stock 245/40/18F and 285/35/19 R and then your sizes on
