I wouldnt go too big with out getting a converter. You can get them to run and idle perfect when using an aftermarket converter. Feel free to PM me if you need any more info.

I am running a Comp Cam in my A6 and I love it, but as Frans96ss stated that you can't go to big without a converter.

I have a nice cam lope (which I wanted) and I have no driveablity issues the car will idle and have no problems with running the air. I am running my stock converter and the cam I have is about the largest you can run without having to change converters.

Comp Cam XR275HR, .222/.224, .566/.568, 112 lsa

I have an A6 with a 3200 vigilanti stall and stock 2.56 gears. Cam is a 3x from Cartek with stock compression(heads were not touched).

Just ran the 1/8 track last week and temps were in low 70`s to mid 60`s.

Here is my dyno graph, correction SAE 1.02

Needless to say, i love it, and the car has great manners around town.

Tonyb4 Thanks for the videos your car sounds great and really goes. Do you know the numbers on the cartek 3x cam? Hows the drone and did you notice any differance in fuel consumption? I beleave you have a pully as well on your car.

Forgot about the ASP pulley, its 10%.

The car drone is from 15-1900 rpms and its not bad at all. Gas mileage, believe this or not, actually stayed the same on the thruway and lost about 1-2 on the street.

As for the numbers of the cam, give them a call.
