Default 2008 Air Intake Question

I have a 2008 Coupe with paddle shift. Currently stock but want to make some mods soon. I had a HONKER on my 2005 LS2 and felt it was the best intake for my set up. In looking at the LS3 intake, it looks like it is more open than previous C5 and C6 air intakes. Has anyone installed a HONKER or BLACKWING on a 2008? Any dyno numbers to show HP gains? I know they are two different intakes in that one is a cold air system and the other takes air from the engine compartment. A few have told me to leave it alone as the LS3 intake is very good. I plan on adding Kooks long tube headers and high flow cats plus a 2700 torque converter. I will sit back and wait for the show.

I installed a Honker on my 2008. I did not feel any difference in performance after it was installed. I did notice that you can hear it sucking wind now. As for dyno numbers, I had my car dyno'd totally stock and then once the CAI, Headers, 160 T-Stat and Tune were done. I went from 355 RWHP to 412 RWHP. My initial number seems low to everyone from an LS3 but it was the same for 3 consecutive pulls. All numbers were taken from a dynapack dyno.
