Halltech Beehive Venom™ RAIS

We should have these in stock in about two weeks. Check with Southern Car Parts late September.
We are able to use the same shroud as used on the Z06 and LS3 C6, but the hole alignment is different due to the difference between the stock AIS vs the stock pin alignment on the LS7 and LS3. The pin locators on the LS2 are going to be changed to fit the Venom™ Beehive. We have not tried this shroud on the older Halltech C6 Stinger SSM, but it should work on that application as well, since the SSM filter is actually shorter in height compared to the Killer Bee Filter that comes with the Venom.
Introductory pricing will be $129.99 plus shipping on the Beehive Venom™ RAIS shroud.

Above HP rating is on the LS7 with Halltech e-mailTune®. e-mailTune® is no longer available for street applications.

It helps keep the Ram Air from leaking out the top, but the shroud is not sealed anyway. It has other areas of leakage, so the seal is not critical.
Without the mini-gun, I'm just a regular bee.

can you elaborate of the differences between your "standard" filter media, the "iso" filter media, and the "race" filter media
and also if there is a difference in the filter media between the LS3 type and the LS7 type intake?
e.g. not in terms of flow since obviously the race filter flows more, but in terms of filtration efficiency, filtration capacity, filter durability, and if there is a difference in how the filters are maintained?
thanks for the time

You can request the K&N style 4 layer filter for no additional charge, in your order. It is worth maybe 1 HP at full tilt according to Katech. The Race version is good for 2 HP over the ISO 5011 filter on their engine dyno, so unless drag racing is your thing, there is some filtration of sand, grit, grime, but not much dust since the Race version is Dupont Reemay, and does not hold oil.
Oil is the primary filtration defense along with the cotton gauze.

also, if you don't mind, can you post a picture of how your "Halltech Beehive Venom RAIS" attaches to the radiator? e.g. push pins, plastic studs, etc?
and also, would you say that the material used in the plastic part of the killer bee intake would survive a powdercoating oven?
say if i wanted it to be powdercoated to match a bunch of other stuff and not painted?
thanks again for the time

Killer Bee will not survive powercoating since it plastic cannot be powercoated.
Katech paints our Killer Bee to match exteriors.
