What brand of pads are most of you using for 06 z51? Dealer are $317 w tax f+r

stock ones seems to be fine, carbotech and cobalt friction are good too. I would stay away from Hawks as the HPS is worse than stock pads and HP+ is not very rotor friendly.

Order some C5 Z06 brake pads from Gene Culley. They fit the C6 caliper. IMHO the best bang for the buck.

I use them currently on my dedicated track car and my cruiser. They stop you very well and last quite a while provided you break them in properly. No noise, but a bit more brake dust.

You can easily change the pads yourself if so inclined.

Carbotech ceramic pads cut the dust down to almost nothing and what dust there is dosen't stick like it did with the stock pads.
