While the humor is no doubt at your expense, it implies that a baseline dyno is a given, or what's the point of the dyno after the mod.
True.
And while the sarcastic response was possibly a little harsh, one should also understand the basis of it...asking if anyone has dyno'd their stock 2008 Corvette in this section is almost akin to asking if anyone has ever washed their Corvette, some things are just known (at least to those who frequent the boards or at least use the search feature ).
But that's certainly not the way to welcome a newcomer/new Corvette owner so I will take this opportunity to apologize for contributing to the infraction.
No need to think I took it harshly, I am just saying it could have been a little better in the delivery. No offense intended! But, I do appreciate the responses.
I asked without searching, that I admit. I am seeing some #'s that look a little high to me for stock. But, I am use to ford over claiming their #'s, Haven't had a Chevy in ten years.
I didn't bother to Dyno my Mustang stock, because I would have just been disappointed with my #'s. So, I waited till I needed it tuned after the mods, This is why I asked. Sadly enough after a procharger, headers, intake, and full exhaust, the vette still has more stock.
