Just started rears and and not sure if big white spacer that fits under boot of old bilstein wants to go on koni shaft. Also i assume i put old boot on koni, but it doesnt fit, do i ream the hole in the boot a little bigger. I tried search which i had done all week, but now the search isnt working. Does everything of the bilstein rears just go back on koni, and if yes do i have to do any reaming. No instructions in koni kit. Getting dark, please advise asap. Must have put in 100 shocks over the years dont know why this isnt going smoothly. C6 08 z51. Thanks.

When I put the Koni' s on my 06 Z51 I reused all the factory hardware, reamed or drilled as necessary to fit. I am not familiar with the bilstiens, however I would use the hardware that was the most substantial, and trust your previous experience. Good luck........
Maybe too late. But the big white bump stop came from the stock shocks when the Bilsteins were added. Use that and ream the black factory cover to fit with a rat tail file or carefully with a smaller bit. Not too much. No extra play. Just enough to get them on. They will be stationary when complete. Re-use original top rubber bushings just as installed with washers top and bottom. Good luck.

Agreed. Definitely use the stock dust cover and you will need to drill or file the hole just slightly. I used a step drill bit.
