Koni fsd install
I just asked for help one hour ago, got hung up on re-using all original shock parts. I installed koni rear shock without big white/yellow 1 inch spacer,that was under dust cover,and without stock dust cover. Never saw a rear shock without a dust cover, until this koni. Would appreciate a verification of above. Will check with koni tech if no feedback. Thanks.

What I did when I put them on my C6 was very slightly ream out the dust cover so it fit the Koni's. Worked very well. When I say slightly I mean very slightly, you don't need to do much reaming. The rest sounds like what i did.

You should reuse the bump stop rubber, too. You don't have to drill it out, just push it on.

I called KONI when I installed mine to verify. You should use the stock dust cover, as mentioned above, by slightly filing the boot and reuse the stock bump stop. In addition you should use the small white washer that came with the KONI's between Bump stop and the base of the shock.
