I installed the Bullets last week, the sound is insane car looks good with these lovely tips BUT I have this problem which is the exhaust tips!
I can't level them any more, I tried 5 times with no luck! any one with Bullets is facing the same thing? I have a friend with a 07 Z and he's telling me it's OK because he is having this too.
please tell me that I'm not the only one!!
Sorry for the image quality phone camera 3.15 MP and it's kinda dark.
Thanks!
I had the same issue. All you have to do is adjust the x-pipe on one side and that fixed my issue. I had the problem on my pass side, we adjusted the pipe down from the header and it worked.
Thanks for the replies guys!
So is that it? adjusting the pipe only? kk, I'm installing my headers next month and I'll tell them to fix it up for me.
Thanks!
I had the same problem with my Fusion exhaust found out that it was the clamps weren't holding the exhaust pipes and letting them twist some everytime I tightened up the other clamp what I did was clamp a straight edge or level to the pipes got them level and tack welded them at each joint. just enough to keep them from moving then tightned down the clamps. worked great.

Thanks bro, I know that welding them is the only way but I don't want to do that only because they're not level.
I wanted to know if there's any one who's having the same thing as mine to feel good about my car LOL! I thought I'm the only one but... I am NOT! I'll give "Blkls3" idea a try and see.
pics guys pics!
Thanks
Thanks a lot "Blkls3" I really appreciate it so much my good friend, thank you for the time you spent for taking the pics
like you said.. all I have to do is adjust the x-pipe on my car and that is the trick!
BTW.. Sorry for the lives lost during Sep. 11
Looks to me like you put your rubber hanger on the wrong hole.
I left everything on mine loose then hung them. Once they were striaght I tightened the clamps that attach the muffers to midpipe. Then after I reattached the cats to the X pipe. Lined up great.
No prob thats what this site is for to help everyone. And thanks.

I have a set of Route 66's with the same problem. I have seen several pair of B & B's with the same problem. Passenger side inside tilt, which tells me one thing. The weld jigs at the factory are not correct!!! I just took the inside hanger in the back and slotted it, which allows it to drop level and it now looks perfect. Who wants to drop the header down on one side. Got to be a factory defect (B & B)!

Agreed!
I talked with someone from the staff of "B&B Exhaust Company" itself, he told me that's strange because the tips are very well made and no body had this issue before. he told me he need some pics of the tips so I sent him a pic of my friend's Z and my C6 too. I also checked some Route and Bullets vids on YouTube.. 4 of 10 Vettes got the same problem.

Of course that is what B & B will tell you, can you imagine what it would cost them if they admitted that they screwed up the measurements. Have you ever seen any stock exhaust mis-aligned? I tried adjusting mine three times before I slotted the inside passenger side bracket.
