Default L92/L76 Dyno Results

Here we go!

Not going into detail unless specific questions are asked but anyway here are the results:

05 Z51 Mn6
Melrose Headers 1 7/8"
VaraRam Intake
Already ported TB
L92 heads not ported, head milled to 0.020 with stock gaskets
L76 Manifold intake, not ported
Intake rockers
Cam 224/228 .581/.588 114 LSA, no fly-cut
Dyno results: 440 rwhp/405 rwtq, Winpep Dynojet outside setup
Tuned by Jeremy Formato
Temperature: 97. 27 F, Tampa Florida area

My car in stock form was 340 rwhp....so it came a long way. I am very happy with the results, not only with the numbers but tremendous amount of response....it feels so much faster. 1/4 track will be next.

Spin, I probably need someone to host or I just send a copy to you so you could post. Just let me know so I could scan it first. Thanks for your reply.

Great numbers, this are the route I'd like to take in order to mod my 05 vette.

Any idle sound clips?

I already have the Melrose Headers, and was thinking about the same setup as you....except a different intake. I am looking for a mild cam as well.

Good numbers! I have similar results with similar set up. I wanted smallest cam close to stock as possible because I didn't wanted the car shake at idle cause so as not make the females feel uncomfortable, LOL. Here are my mods on my 05, z51, Mn6, convertible

Melrose headers, Random Tech cats,
Magnaflow
Callaway Honker
Stock TB-not ported yet
GM heads-ported
FAST intake manifold
Cam 224/224
3.90 gears
DTE strut brace and hardened shaft
Z06 clutch
Tuned by Ryan Perry
Heads ported by Pete Incaudo
Dynoed at Ant-Venom-Dynojet, Tampa

Stock was 326.86rwhp/325.12rwtq
Final result 445.53rwhp/417.30rwt

I'm pleased with the result considering I didn't want a big cam. The low-end and 3.90 gear is great for street driving. Sorry I don't know how to put up graph but at 4000 rpm my numbers are 300/400.

You're almost dead on my results for an almost exact setup. I got 450/405, but I'm sure our cams are slightly different, but no fly cutting for me either. Enjoy the newfound power

Those are great numbers. Jeremy is the best. There is still some on the table with porting for you. I have some friends who are doing 472/ 430
with the additional porting. Im sure Jeremy can get you there.

I have my cake and can it too. Jeremy lives about 15 minutes from me. And you are correct, Jeremy is the best. He spent a tremendous amount of time just on the street tune. Jeremy just goes into a zone when he's tuning. He's very meticulous and delivers the best for his customers. Okay, getting back to your question. I'm contemplating on the new FAST intake for the L92 instead of the LS3 ported intake. I have to wait and see.

Sorry, no sound clips. However, the car has a nice lope and a slight shake which I adore very much. I believe the idle is set at 690rpm. Don't even think about aftermarket mufflers with my setup....it is loud enough for me.
