HELP: Quick replacement roof question
Dealer called to let me know my replacement roof is ready, "come on in and pick it up". (Seperated roof recall). He brings the roof out and it's missing all the underside hardware. (roof liner, latches, ETC...) "Come back tommorow" he tells me. My question is, does the hardware I need come from the old roof and does it get transfered or will I bring my car back to the dealer for nothing because he needs to order the parts.

Standard practice to swap over the roof panel hardware once the replacement panel arrives.

I just dropped off my roof and picked up the new one. The dealer painted it and switched the hardware. I made the adjustments to the hardware. Its pretty easy to do.
The bad thing is I keep getting the recall notices in the mail monthly like clock work. I write back that the dealer replaced it but they keep coming.
