I think the dealer is right. Do you feel that the ride is too rough or that the car doesn't handle well? Please give more info. Remember that the new ZR1 has the selective ride control but with huge sway bars for better handling.

my front shocks are bad, according to the dealership. The car over the past few months became very roady, and seemed to bounce funny through turns at moderate speeds. It used to handle better and I just put on new eagles and still only helped a little. 16,000 miles. dealer says fronts are bad. SO, I guess the OE's are it. Should'nt they last a little longer?

Aren't the shocks covered under warranty? Seems like they should last longer. How expensive are they? The downside to those is that you don't have any other options.

you would think it would be. delivery date was dec so its still less than 36 mo. The car is there for an ac compressor that is covered. I did not get a price for the shocks. I will let you know. But, being at the mercy of the dealership is not a good place.
