MSDs are horrible. I've seen a bunch break up on the dyno on higher horse cars. If you just want to replace the GM ones are fine. If you want to upgrade I'd get some of the good insulated ones like MTI sells. Very pricey but its the only way I'd go... stock or these things. A few companys make similiar ones. I have a guy that makes them for me and they are $140 a set. Triple insulated, heat shielded monster wires. No way to hurt them. It takes a gorrilla to put them on, unlike the MSDs which are like sticking a broomstick in a bucket of water. They also don't grenade when you try and take them off. If you can't find the MTI ones and want a set of mine PM me.
Here is a pic of the MTI ones. I just remembered they are car dealers now so I dunno. Mine are the same but with a different sleave. Not as blingy unfortunately. Just a plain ole fiberglass sleave. Oh, mine are also 8 or 8.8 mm and I think those are 7mm. http://www.mtiracing.com/artmaverick...998,2002p.html
