Having BB Fusion System Installed, Quick Questions...

1. Does this system come with complete instructions for install? I found some incomplete ones on their website, but nothing too thorough.
2. How long should this take someone to install overall? The place I am looking at charges $70/hour for labor.
3. Does anyone know a reputable Corvette place in Kansas City to have them installed?
4. Is there anything I should be certain to mention when dropping everything off?
Thank you! Can't wait!!!!!

ANS: Yes, much more detailed then on the web site
2. How long should this take someone to install overall? The place I am looking at charges $70/hour for labor.
ANS: If they know what they are doing 1hr
3. Does anyone know a reputable Corvette place in Kansas City to have them installed?
ANS: Can't help with that one
4. Is there anything I should be certain to mention when dropping everything off?
ANS: I would show up before the car is off the lift to be sure you are happy with the alignment
Looking forward to the install.
As noted in my e-mail, if you can scan and send me the instructions ahead of time (particularly on the B&B preferred manifold vacuum connection location and routing) that would be good. The rest I've done before, at least three times or more...went thru several exhausts on my coupe...leaving my Z alone for now
.I also want to get a real close look at your M2W and compare it to the Logisys RM02 remotes that I've been using on my own cars.

PS: Jack - how's your system doing? All well?

I look forward to the install and learning all about the particulars of it. I will also be very interested to see under the car since I haven't had the chance to get under there yet!
Also, does anyone have the supplied instructions in PDF form by any chance?
Thanks!
Tom can elaborate.
In the end all went well, just took longer than anticipated. Getting the vacuum tap on the back of the manifold is impossible without removing manifold. See improvised vacuum booster "tee" solution pictured in next post below.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Long install, but everything was done right and everything looks great!

PS. There are warnings about attempting to use vacuum from the brake port.

I understand the concerns about the brake line, and I will eventually decide to go through the hassle of putting it on the "proper" vacuum outlet. We put together a VERY solid piece that I am confident will hold up very well. For now it works very well. I just got it programmed to the homelink tonight, very cool! My dad loves it (I think he's a little jealous!
)Set off my first car alarm today too!

Looks like you continue to lead the Corvette Community with your time and generosity - luv it
My car is doing very well - got some BBS's for it which look great, and am adding a full-width racing spoiler and those GM splash guards.
Note my new name "VETFEVER JACK" - VETFEVER was taken on the Forum, so I added the Jack part...
Hope the Z is fully broken in and running fine - I am sure it is
Take care sir

Hey Thomas, all I get are red X's on the pics you posted...
OP: Agreed, back manifold tap is best spot; however, I didn't have a set of curved needle nose to try to get at it with...left it readily removable/changeable for Thomas to try again when he feels like taking on the frustration of it. Also, back manifold booster tap and prescribed vacuum tap are side by side, with the only difference being the volume of the booster vac. line itself. The vacuum check is at the booster. I knew we would be defending this one...
Same vacuum location more or less, and brake booster is where S/C's are tapped for blow-off valve and boost gage, so it should be just fine.
Additionally, if one loses vacuum, they do not lose brakes, just have to put some muscle into it, just like a failed booster diaphragm feels like, or a like 1963 farm truck (similar brake feel - I've driven them both)
Jack - Z just passed 1k miles coming back from Funfest in Effingham a few weeks ago...starting to feel like the S/C did, plus cooler temps really bring out the torque beast. I owe Thomas a ride and I told him I want to drive his paddle shifter just to be able to say I have driven one...

I should have that nut/bolt for you soon. I will let you know when I get it and I can swing it on by and let you try out the paddle shifter.
Can't wait to ride in the Z so that I can try and keep myself from buying a S/C for a while. I did call the finance department and they said that I can get a prorated refund for the extended warranty I purchased at any time, so that is good news. I may keep it just in case I have problems with other things like window motors, etc.
Next... IPOD connector, Intake, Spacer... then who knows!
