Procharger Noise
I recently got my car back and while driving it the procharger sounded alittle noiser than what I remeber it to be when I last drove it. I also thought that I was just hearing things and wasn't concerned that much. That cool sound of the procharger running became louder than ever before. Anyway it turns out that the bearings were going bad and the pulley was able to wobble from side to side. That cool procharger sound from under the hood was actually my unit going bad. Procharger said that they will replace it for FREE as it is under warranty when I spoke to them on the phone. Next Level Performance didn't get it back from them yet so I don't know for sure that it was FREE.

If you didn't have bad luck..You would'nt have any luck at all! Whats up with Procharger? Why the delay? You would think that they would take care of this problem and have it back to you asap. You have been an advocate of theres for years, Now that you have upgraded to there premier set up...YOU HAVE HAD NOTHING SHORT OF GRIEF. I HOPE THEY READ THE FORUM! THE HELL WITH FIXING YOUR UNIT. THEY SHOULD BE SENDING YOU A NEW ONE OVERNIGHT. Please keep us informed. I'm almost ready to add a supercharger to my LS3. What happens to you will greatly influence my decion in the vender I choose.

One word, VORTECH from the days in the early 90s, procharger had a bad name, and THEN came vortech , a little noisy but dependable. Procharger always had problems, maybe they changed , maybe. FREE isn't always free, like shipping and time.

I have less than 5,000 on the F1A unit and they said that they will repair the worn bearings if that is what it is. I called and they have the unit there as of Friday 3rd and I'm just waiting to see when they will send it back. When I spoke to them on the phone they said it's a 2-3 week turn around but when I spoke to a member here on the forum he said it was a 1 week period. I can't wait to get my car back

I just called Procharger and they fixed the problem and will be sending me back my F1A tomorrow as they have paper work to get get ready.
