Default does this vette seem like it may be a lemon?

looking at maybe buying this 05 vert , a great member on this forum emailed
the service history, and it seems to have had several issues

towed severl times , looks like clutch, master cylinder,
both half shafts what ever they are, have been relpaced , and looks like several small problems
are unusual repairs?
below is the service history
Thanks

I'd say with the issues it had with both half shafts(axles) being replaced, and the clutch it has been beat on pretty hard. Both your axles don't snap unless you are beating on a car no matter if they were weak in the early c6's or not. IMO Stay away.

Since it was an 05 , the axles may have not snapped, but maybe the owner talked the dealership into replacing the shafts before something did happen. Talk to the seller directly, if it seems like he's hiding something, don't buy it.

It was built two weeks after my C6 and I've had none of these problems and only a few others. I'd pass on it. Sounds like it's been driven hard.

I agree with everyone else. There are far too many choices out there to settle for something "skepticle". Keep looking, you'll find the right one.

All but the half shafts in that list are noted occurances with an early C6 that can result regardless of how the vehicle was driven. I've had about as many issues with mine, and I'm only over 1/2 throttle about 2% of the time. Car has never seen a track, either.

Even the half shafts themselves are prone to failure though. The guy could have simply taken the car to the strip a couple of times like many of us do. And more than a couple have lost rear ends under less than extreme launches. I'd say dont completely discount it yet. Price is a factor.

Mine has been a bit of a lemon too, but I'd trust my car to another owner down the line, as I feel that I've finally worked out the kinks. Could be the case with the one you're looking at. Obviously, buyer beware. But, depending on how cheap he's willing to let the car go for, and how many actual miles are on it, it could be a deal.
