I take the train to work now... My D.D. sits in the garage sometimes a week or two between drives. With colder weather on it's way, I was thinking of buying one of these? Thoughts?
PS, I live in a high rise with no heat/ electrical outlets, so plugging up a battery tender is not an option unless I remove the battery from the car and take it inside?

I have had one on my C6 for three and one half years, and it works as advertised. It won't help if you have a bad battery, but for all other contingencies they're great. Combine it with a battery tender and you have the perfect combination to make sure that your occasional use weekend beast will always awaken!

Thanks. It seems like a good investment. I also have some aftermarket stereo equipment installed that I think sometime acts a little quirky(pulling power when the car is shut off?)
I had 3 dead batteries in my '06 coupe. I bought priority start for that car and had to use it once. It is not installed in my '07 convertible and I have had no battery problems. So I guess my answer is "perhaps".

I've had to jump/ charge a Optima Yellow Top(that I bought new last Spring) twice in the last 6 months, so I'm thinking about trying one out...?
Installed one on my '06 at 7 miles. I've had to use it one time, it works! Just be sure to carry a key with you to open the hatch, push the lighter and start and go. Simple and like I said, it works.

These were very popular here back with the '05 MN6's and DBS. Now that problem is fixed I don't hear much about it. But that sort of gizmo makes sense with any vehicle I would think.
