My cigarette lighter isn't working....thought I'd check the fuse first. I found the panel under the floor board with no problem. The fuse, apparently, is in the smaller vertical rectangular box on the right. It has a black plastic cover. There is a blue and cream connection with a rocker handle in the way. It does not provide sufficient access to allow me "pull" out the cover. Looks like a rectangular piece "blocks/covers" the upper left portion of the fuse box. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.
Nope. That cover will come off without taking anything else off. I don't remember exactly how to take that cover off but try pushing the tabs away or try pulling them towards the box. I don't remember which way removes it but you're doing it right.

You have to remove that connector to get to the fuse cover. If you stare at it long enough it will become apparent how to take both off. There is an indent you push on the connector then pull back on the lever part removing it.

Squeeze the sides of the fuse cover.
Does the connector pull straight back? Do you flip the lever up, first?
Thanks....
