Which CAI is the cheapest, most expensive? Which is the best and WHY??? Which one gives the best performance? Are they tough to install? Help with a big decision...please.

Thanks!
Do a search here and in the C6 general section and you will have all the answers you want. There is usually a war started between which is best. Some don't believe they work at all. Good luck.
I had your same questions. I searched this Forum and found a wealth of information. I believe all true CAI are very close to one another when analyzing performance. I went with BPP's Vortex Ram Air CAI. Liked the look, quality of the unit, performance and ease of installation. Do a search and have fun with this upgrade over stock.
I also installed the BPP Vortex Rammer. I liked the product quality and the filter sits higher from the ground than the Vararam, so there is less chance of water intake. The installation was fairly easy and BPP's website has an installation instruction video that was helpful.
Thanks guys! Is a tune following a CAI install REQUIRED?? Or is it just preferred? IE...can I hurt my car by installing a CAI and not tuning it?
A tune is not required but some recommend it to maximize the CAI benefit. I installed The BPP Vortex Rammer and didn't do a tune and the car ran great. The computer will adjust to the increased air flow after some miles of driving, somewhat of a self tune.
