Default Tires

Now that it has gotten cooler here in Texas my stock GY are severely over powered. What tire and size should I replace them with? I was considering 305 Invos on the stock rims, but open to all options. Also, as I have plenty of tread left on the tires can I simply replace the rears or do I need to do all 4. thanks guys.

my wife replaced her GYs with BFGs - much better traction, feel and comfort - quieter too - and $900 less. There should be no problem in replacing the rears first, except the car may understeer (push) during hard cornering if the rear traction has been increased. also if you are using non run-flats, there is a spare tire kit available @ www.VetteSpare.com

You'd probably be happy with the Invos or the BFGs. Many CF members have posted positive reviews of each.

After my GY runflats got to 25k, I bought new wheels/tires as a package from CCW who recommended Toyo T1Rs and I've been very satisfied with the performance and stickiness.
