Default QA1 adjustable Shocks - What a difference!

I just installed these shocks on my 05 vert and what a difference it makes! Feels way more planted and I feel so much more confident around corners! I can't believe such a small thing makes such a big difference on the way the car handles!

I went to 2 autocrosses and 5 track days with the stock shocks and I never felt as confident as in my old car, a 2000 Boxster S. I always thought that I just have to get use to the "nervous handling" on the vette. However, it feels totally like a different car with these new shocks!

I wonder if my old Z51 shocks were worn since GM can't possibility install shocks that were that inferior? My car has about 32K KM, so maybe it was time for new shocks? I know they change the stock shocks in 07, so maybe the 05's were inferior?

The only drawback is that I can feel all the bumps on the road, but it's adjustable, so I guess I can dial it back to a lower setting to compensate. There are 12 settings and I set it to a 5 at the moment, so I'll play around with the settings.

I don't know if everyone feels the same after they changed their shocks. Too bad track season is over. I can't wait until I get them on the autocross and road course next year.
