Yes it is 500hp at the wheels. My hope is with a new set of LPE head, headers, LPE cam....we can squeeze 600rwhp with the stock LS2 block. I think with some of their magic tuning at LPE, it can happen.

I still need to pick out new wheels and tires.

Anyway, your car looks great. I enjoyed the video.
Jay,

I can only tell you...you will be so happy with your car when it comes back....I think a set of Kooks or LG's headers would make my car even more potent.....you know, more air in, more air out. I will be looking forward to what numbers your car puts down. From what I hear, the 112 is the better choice if you plan on leaving the motor pretty much stock. Just wait until you hear that jet engine come to life under your hood once you hit boost. HOLD on tight and point it in a straight direction!!!

From one 122 owner to another enjoy your new found power but be careful it takes some getting used to. With the 122 and a cam ,headers and a 3.0 pulley you will be at 600 at the rear wheels.

I can only imagine....when I dropped my car off to LPE they had 2 BRAND NEW Z06's torn to the ground...both had under 10 miles on them. Both were 1000hp packages.....mine is a handful, these cars must be down right SCARY to drive when the throttle is punched. I would love a chance to take a ride in one. They told me these cars are certainly capable of ripping the hides off at 120mph....I believe every word. At any rate.....be careful in that monster....make sure you have it aimed in a straight direction when you gun it. Too much power in my book......but don't think for a second, if I could afford it, I would be right there with you!!!!

How do you feel about their warranty? That is a great selling point if it covers everything in the engine bay, but I read through one of the warranties listed on their site and it sounded kinda finicky -- here is on excerpt: "This warranty does not apply to damage caused by detonation, overheating, misuse, incorrect maintenance, modification, abuse, racing, or accidents." The "detonation & racing" part is kind of strange since detonation is usually caused by a tuning issue and I would imagine most people would consider a package like this specifically to RACE the car. In any case, I don't have the funding to purchase anything on their site, but it was a point of interest for me as I really like the idea of a 3 year warranty on a package like that. I've also heard good things about them as well.

Lets play Devils Advocate for a second. You get your car back and since forced induction cars are always tuned on premium fuel and you accidently get a tank full of regular, the car detonates and breaks a piston. Should LPE cover a new engine?

Well I should probably get Tim at LPE to answer these questions direct....I can only tell you my decision to use Lingenfelter was based alot on what I read on this forum, along with speaking to many LPE customers. I can honestly say I never heard anything bad about them. Just look at Lingenfelter Corvettes resale value......they always pull top dollar, because people know the reputation, and they know it was done right. I also know that LPE is very conservative with their packages.....meaning a more aggessive tune/smaller pulley's could easily pull another 75-100 hp from their packages....but that is not exactly what they are all about. Extremely high horsepower numbers are easy to achieve with the right tuner and unlimited funds.....LPE builds their packages to be extremely dependable. Like I said on other posts.....I wanted a car that is capable of high 10's and still be able to jump in it and drive across country. I could care less if I have 1000hp if I am constantly throwing supercharger belts, breaking down or "wrenching" on my car every week because something is still out of wack. I am by no means rich.....I saved up for almost 2 years to get this package.....There is something to be said about LPE, you get what you pay for....I could not be happier.

You completely missed my entire point but thats ok I was standing behind LPE on my post. I do agree they are a great shop and build a hell of a package. I was merely defending them on the whole detonation issue and saying that there are instances where it would not be their fault

Chris,

I am sorry, I did maybe miss your point. Detonation certainly would be out of the warranty if someone is loading up their car with 87 octane all the time....I agree. I am sure there are also many instances where LPE cars and many other shops cars are just beat on, until the point of breakage......If someone is abusing the vehicle constantly, no the tuner should not be responsible either. I think LPE and others charge a hefty price because they know some of their cars may come back with issues. I think any great tuner shop out there, will stand behind their work to some degree. I think the expensive ones build warranties into their pricing. Again sorry for misreading your post.

I have not had it to the strip. From what LPE tells me, with slicks.....high 10's are a very good possibility. Street tires.....mid to high 11's.
