Default Shock Replacement

I have had a set of Bilstein Shocks sitting in the garage for a few months now. I decided to install them yesterday. After spending an hour trying to figure out how to get the fronts compressed and out, I did a forum search. The 32 tie rap version did not look like the answer, so I kept looking.

The Pfadt version is the best, just remove the upper control arm. Real simple when you do it that way. Also the upper control arm doesn't impact alignment since it bolts to the frame.

A little stiffer than the Z51, but I like them.

Default Chain Method

I used a section of chain. I compressed the top and slid the chain link over the top of the shock then I compressed it again and slid the bottom link over the lower end of the shock. There is no way that was going to break and it came out easily.
