They can not be changed between cars. The Z06 car has the LS7 intake with rectangular ports where the LS2 is a cathedral port intake. They can not be swapped. For an LS2 car, you should probably take a look at the FAST 92mm intake. You can run your factory LS2 TB with than intake as well. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Im not sure, but I think he is talking about the Z06 Exhaust manifold...And if that is the case, they DO fit, they DO work, and they DO put out power. My car put down 382 RWHP and 376 RWTQ with CAI,ZO6 Manifolds, mid/hpipe, and weld in mufflers. I added 3.90 gears, and the car has run a best of 11.79 @ 117.25 as of a couple weeks ago. If this is what you are talking about, Do a search for Z06 Exhaust manifolds and there were several threads on it a while back.
If you were talking about the Intake manifold, Jon is Right, It wont work.
By the way, whats up Jon.. Ill be in LBB saturday for the game. If yall are open sat morning, i might stop by and say hello to you guys.
Ahh, good call. I just looked at manifold instead of manifolds and assumed it was the intake. However the exhaust manifolds can be put on the LS2 to pick up some free power.
We're going to be closed for the weekend but I'm sure we'll catch up with ya next time. Have fun at the game! Wreck'em Tech!
I second the zo6 exhaust manifold (and everything downstream) route. I did the full setup as well but used the oem z mufflers and put down 371 rwhp, no other mods on my 07. Pleased with the numbers for not too much cash spent...in fact i spent for everything installed less than or the equivalent of a new catback system (1k). Bank for the buck with this setup is great!
I know the ZO6 manifolds with headpipes and cats are hard to come by because you need to find a "donor" ZO6 but if some tuner could come up with this in a package I would line up my LS3...in Florida would be nice also.
Agree with above but will add that they don't have the scavenging ability a tuned header has, and that usually means they won't produce the mid range torque of headers. Peak power would be similar though.

You've got it nailed
Compared to headers I think the LS7 exhaust is good for an easy 75% of the horsepower gain and 50% of the torque.
I'm running LS7 manifolds and cats on my 08 LS3 with a small cam and put down 450 rwhp and 421 rwtq. Best track time 0f 11.8 @ 120mph, with a weak 60' (1.95) The car has trapped 121 mph on a 12.0 with some wheel spin.
