Well you certainly got my attention with your video. Sounds great.

I have had corsa sports and kooks headers for over a year now and although I like the sound most of the time, the popping on decel really bothered the wife and at times, me. So I just reinstalled the stock mufflers last week. It is just too quiet. I was seriously thinking about an NPP setup with the m2w switch. Looks like this post is a good place to start. Are the mufflers stock? Is there any drone? Any advice would be helpful. thanks.

Default Yup...

I been sayin' this since the day I put 'em on! With the exception of the collective mods that laid down 450rwhp, this is the coolest mod I've done. Guys, whether you go big & mod your cars to make lotsa power in any manner or just add headers & NPPs this is the way to go!

It really makes the Corvette exhaust sound better, especially at idle. This will be the first mod I do when I buy my 2009 next Spring.

Closed your gonna be close if not same as stock you're running now, no drone, no popping during decel. Open under normal just much deeper & louder w/ some drone & popping under high rpm decel. At WOT as loud as they come in an AWESOME way! Yes they are stock GM option from '08 & standard on all Z06s. The NPPs are 2.5" & will bolt on to what you have, Z06s are 3" & will require mod & have sound slightly deeper, the NPPs tend to have a higher/louder pitch at WOT too. Oddly enough they changed them for '09 C6s, so you'll need '08s for direct bolt on. The way to go is get a set of used NPPs off an '08 (I lucked out & got a set of brand new takeoffs cheap) from $500 (dirt cheap) to $1000 (way high) but new even more. Get controller from either vendor posted whos options cover your needs, realistically the simplest is the best on/off vacuum from engine, but all are a snap to install. If you have any questions you're welcome to send PM. I guarentee you will be pleased with outcome of adding these.
