questions about LS3
Hi all
I have Nissan patrol (SUV) with LS3 engine
In the U.A.E the heat in the summer some times reach till 50C (122F) degree
and my next project i will put supercharger .
thats why i search for High quality oil that fit with or without supercharger.
-which oil that fit with my engine from Royal Purple?
- What kind of oil cooler you Recommend?
- If i put oil cooler do i need to change oil pump?
- How much litter of oil that take LS3 engine?
- Which supercharger you Recommend from MAGNACHARGE?

Actual oil fill volume will depend on which pan you use, but ~6qts is a good starting point. The oil cooler itself adds only a small amount of volume to the system.
If you're planning on a Magnacharger, I would recommed something using the newer TVS compressors. They have significantly higher efficiency, which means less heat generation under boost. With any of their US kits, you'll probably want to upgrade the heat exchanger for your application. You should be able to just replace their heat exchanger (Raditiator) with a larger one from Setrab or B&M. You can even run multiple cores in series if needed.
