Disable FOB functions

Disable FOB functions
Has anyone attempted to disable any of the FOB functions? Or maybe put a cover? over the buttons so they can't be accidently activated?
Too often I find the hatch open and the horn (panic button) blowing, because the FOB buttons get pushed when I have leaned against something with the FOB in my pocket.
Cures?
