Compression ratio bump on LS3
What's a half point more compression ratio worth on an LS3 with a mild cam and bolt ons? Can a half point, or more, be had with just a thinner head gasket? If you're pulling the heads to add a thinner gasket, a little milling wouldn't be that much more trouble. Is it worth the effort? Added compression seems to be a good mod to a point. More squeeze equal more power AND mpg. Where's the cutoff when more doesn't get you more?

i milled and used thinner gasket to get ~11.25:1, have a mild cam. I gained hp and tq across the board, no issues with 91 octane gas since the tune. It did run a little rough until i had the fuel/tune adjusted.
