Default New Supercharger installed, tips please.

Just got my procharger put in on my 05 c6, love it so far. Looking for any tips guys have who already have this, any problems to look out for, maintenance tips, getting all the extra heat out from under the hood etc.
I've removed my rear seal from under the hood, but I don't know how much that will help.

Thanks

Doing the Big Bollas mod on the intercooler location is a MUST. Search this forum for pic and instructions. If you don't do it now, you will definitely be doing it next summer. It's an easy Saturday afternoon fix.

Question about the Big Bollas mod. I just had this kit installed, and I'm hearing that there are a lot of shops doing this mod on install, how can I tell if it's been done? My engine temps are within limits, and my oil temp doesn't give me any warnings, I just notice the fan runs all the time in traffic and the engine compartment is a lot hotter than normal when I get home. So how do I know if there is a problem, or just the nature of blower running hot in traffic?

Default Dewitts

I would recommend a Dewitts radiator. It is a direct fit and can provide transmission and oil cooling on their upgraded units. If you have room you may be able to install their double fans which will definitely bring the temp down. Finally, add a good coolant additive such as Royal Purple.

The BB mod will move the bottom of the intercooler approx 4" toward the front of the car, allowing more air flow to the radiator. I did this mod on my ProCgarged C6, along with a Ron Davis 57mm radiator, 160 degree t'stat, Meziere electric water pump, and big oil cooler, and I never have any cooling issues. Actually, when the outside air temps are below 70 degrees, I have heating issues. The coolant temp does not get any warmer than 167 degrees. Guess I could change back to a 195 t'stat, but since I don't drive that much in the winter, ain't worth the trouble.

1) What belt are most people running to avoid chirping when it's cold?

2) How many guys changed their coolant ratio or added water wetter or both, and what't the easiest way to do this? Did you drain the whole cooling system first?

3) How often do you have to tighted the belt, and is there a lock nut, or do you just turn the 1/2" nut on the tensioner?
